Event Sponsors connect CRM account records to event sponsor information, attaching additional account information fields for display on event websites.

Managing Event Sponsors in CRM

Creating, editing, and deleting event sponsors can be done within Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

  • Login to CRM
  • Navigate to Event Management
  • Click Event Sponsors

To create a new event sponsor

  • Click New

To edit an existing event sponsor

  • Double-click on an existing Event Sponsors listed in the grid

Attributes & Relationships

The table below explains many of the Event Sponsor attributes used by Adxstudio Portals. It is important to note that the way in which many of the content/display-oriented attributes are rendered is controlled by the Page Template used, and thus by the portal developer.

Name The name of the sponsor.
Website The associated website.
Account A CRM account record associated with the sponsor.
Description Information regarding the sponsor. 
URL A path to a resource online, typically the sponsor's public website URL.
Publishing State

The current publishing workflow state of the event sponsor record, which may dictate whether or not the event sponsor is visible on the site. See Publishing States. The most common use of this feature is to provide "published/draft" control over content.

Users with content management permissions may be granted the ability to use "Preview Mode", which allows these users to see ("preview") unpublished content.
